Happy Holidays!

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

To all of our clients, partners, and friends around the world, we would like to thank you for yet another strong year for Pulse. Despite the rather challenging economic conditions, we have managed to grow our business globally, added some amazing talent to our group, innovated, and enhanced our brand.

So far, 2010 looks very encouraging for our group, and hopefully the industry as a whole. We look forward to unleashing a whole new array of services, coverage, innovative solutions, and servicing personnel to work even more closely with your teams around the globe.

With that, I’d like to personally thank all of you for your continued support, and wish you a very ‘Merry Christmas’, and a ‘Wonderful New Year’. Happy Holidays, from all of us at Pulse!

Global Entrepreneurs Week

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying the final countdown towards 2010. It has been both a challenging yet exhilarating time for us all, manoeuvring through an extremely volatile 2009, but also capitalising on some of the great opportunities that presented itself as a result.

Regardless, Pulse has continued to grow throughout the year..reporting an increase in our group revenue although contribution by region was very different to our previous year’s performance. Either way, I’m extremely happy to see our team mature, our technology evolve, and our brand growing from strength to strength.

One of the initiatives in particular which was really close to my heart, was our involvement in the ‘Global Entrepreneurship Week ‘09’. As an entrepreneur myself, I have always made sure to listen, advise, and support budding entrepreneurs wherever and whenever I can. I have also been fortunate to work closely with Malaysia’s Multimedia Super Corridor team to establish the premier mentoring task force, aimed at assisting up-and-coming entrepreneurs to get to the next level, and the results have been a blast so far.

From a corporate perspective, we were also involved in sponsoring various programs, including the launch of GEW in Malaysia..along with the Ministry of Education, Microsoft and the British High Commission. Some of the other activities revolved around the ‘Global Entrepreneurs Congress’ powered by EO (Entrepreneurs Organisation), where we met with more established business leaders, and shared our own story of growing the Pulse Group from a start-up, to now operating as a publicly quoted group.

The month of events has given me the opportunity to reflect on where we came from, where we are heading, and all the great minds, advice and role models that got us to where we are today. Thank you to everyone who has become a part of our Pulse story, and look forward to continue updating you on our journey. This is only the beginning…
